The SPHSAA has been in existence since 1983, but few know of its contributions to SPHS and its students. Based on available information, we have gifted over $200,000 to the school, while awarding over $300,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors. Our life memberships exceed 1200, but only a handful attend meetings where decisions are made on how best to support the school. If you currently have a student attending SPHS, or a future SPHS student, please consider membership in our organization, or at the very least, attend one of our meetings to see what we are all about. Our meetings are held via Zoom and dates, times, and login instructions can be found on this website.

If you want to join our Association, please DO NOT join the organization know as SPARROWS POINT HIGH SCHOOL ALUMNI and can be found at https://www.alumniclass.com/sparrows-point.../alumni-join/. This organization is NOT associated with SPHS, and no monies from their memberships go back to the school or students. Over 1200 SPHS alumni have paid to become members of this organization probably thinking they were joining the SPHSAA. That equates to over $60,000.00 that could have benefitted the school but instead lined the pockets of a company not associated with the school. It can't be stressed enough how important your involvement is in supporting the efforts of our association to provide "extras" that are not supported by your tax dollars. For the first time, we are providing details on our contributions to the school and students, hoping to shed some light on the many ways we have and hope to continue to support the school and its students.
